Magued Mahmoud

Magued Mahmoud is a highly accomplished and results-oriented IT Executive, bringing over 35 years of transformative leadership within the technology sector to Finaira. As our CEO, Magued is passionate about establishing and scaling high-performing organizations that drive significant growth, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a culture of innovation and employee engagement.

His extensive career includes pivotal roles such as Vice President and General Manager of Dell Technologies’ Egypt Center of Excellence, where he led its establishment and provided strategic and operational leadership since 2009. Prior to Dell, Magued spent 11 years at Oracle Corporation, heading their Solution Services International Consulting Center and overseeing global consulting service delivery, frequently serving on steering committees for large, strategic IT projects across the Middle East and Africa. He began his career at IBM, gaining a decade of diverse IT experience in sales, support, and consulting across various verticals, including manufacturing, telecom, energy, public sector, and notably, financial services.

Magued’s unique blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and deep understanding of diverse IT solutions across global and regional markets positions him perfectly to lead Finaira in transforming the FinTech landscape. He holds an engineering degree from Ain Shams University and a diploma in ‘Managing IT Software and Services Strategically’ from the Scandinavian International Management Institute.

Outside of work, Magued’s main hobbies include playing and following sports, scuba diving, and exploring the desert on safari adventures.
