Reports To: Service Engineering Manager

The Data/ML Engineer will independently design, build, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines to support the development, deployment, and scaling of data and machine learning models within the financial sector.

Focus: Manage & Build ML Pipelines, Refine ETL Processes & Mentorship

• Independently design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Implement and optimize data quality checks and validation procedures.
• Implement and manage the automation of data pipeline execution and monitoring.
• Build and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and storage solutions adhering to banking security policies.
• Develop and implement strategies for deploying data and ML models at scale.
• Collaborate with data scientists to understand data requirements and dependencies.

What you will bring to the role:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java).
• Expertise in big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with ML frameworks.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices.
• Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing.
